In this class we will explore a discussion on color relationships and how different colors can express different energy and impact.  Students will learn about how the combination of different colors can create visual effects such as contrasting colors which pop out vs complementary colors which blend together and create a softer appearance.  We will explore ways to use these different colors in combination with different line textures, shapes, and patterns.  We will experiment with various color combinations and drawing designs like wiggly lines, sharp lines and various shapes.  Students will be invited to express themselves creatively while using concepts discussed in class to explore new creative ideas and draw a picture using the concepts of the day.
