In this fun and interactive read aloud, Pre-K students will sing along as Pete the cat steps in all kinds of things, messing up his favorite white shoes. Students will be introduced to each color and color word and have the opportunity to individually demonstrate that they know each color. Students will work along with the teacher as they color their show handout that matches the colors in the story. We will learn/review: book title, front cover, back cover, author, illustrator and main character in a fun way, and each student will earn virtual rewards as they participate.

Students will discuss colors with the teacher and fellow classmates.
Students will learn to make predictions about what will happen in the story.
