This is a sample class to get to know the teacher and Outschool. Students will learn what a positive affirmation is and how it can help you feel happier and more confident. Then students will choose an object outline to draw, such as something pertaining to the holidays like a pumpkin or tree. Then they will fill the object with positive affirmations such as "I feel peaceful and calm. I am capable of anything I set my mind to. I am good at math." etc. Visuals will be shown as examples on a slide show. Students are welcome to share their creations if they would like. They will be encouraged to hang their drawing up in their rooms to help them remember what they want to create for themselves.

Hi! My name is Sharon and I have a deep passion for empowering others with the knowledge and support they need to live a magical life of joy, self-confidence, and emotional resiliency. I have a BA in Psychology, a Masters's Degree in Education, and a HeartMath Coaching certification. For many years I taught middle school science and science continues to be one of my passions. For the last seven years, I have been teaching and coaching kids on how to use their inner power to be their best selves and live a joyful and triumphant life. My personal coaching business, Radiate Love for Kids, keeps me busy when I'm not teaching at Outschool. I love to spend my time reading outside with my two tortoises, hiking, and traveling with my daughter.
