In this interactive class, we will fill our time with fun interaction that will help prepare your child with the basic skills they need in Prek and Kindergarten.  Daily Circle With Mrs. R will be just like they would have in a preschool or kindergarten classroom.  We will work on the days of the week, months of the year, weather, letters, shapes, colors, and numbers through a variety of songs and movement activities.  Students will have opportunities to interact with myself and each other during each of the activities.

Students will learn basic skills such as days of the week, months of the year and weather words.  They will also learn and increase their ability to identify letters, give letter sounds, identify numbers, and count objects.

Hi!  My name is Megan (Mrs. R) and I am a wife and mother of two from Ohio.  I teach early elementary classes that cover basic skills using a fun variety of sensory approaches.  I have been a special education teacher for 20 years and have taught in self contained classrooms for students with multiple and cognitive disabilities in grades PreK-8.  I love helping students who are learning or struggling with basic skills to find fun and successful ways to increase their knowledge and grow as a student.  One of the ways that I do this is through a multi-sensory approach to teaching and learning.  If I incorporate a variety of modes, I am certain to reach the needs of all of my students.  In addition to being a mom, wife and teacher, I am also an Air Force Veteran.  I served in the Air National Guard and served two tours overseas.
