Your child will explore the themes of self-esteem, kindness, and individuality through engaging activities and discussions centered around the story Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes. We will focus on the importance of each child's name, fostering a positive sense of self, and encouraging kindness towards others. The class is structured with a balanced read-aloud, interactive discussion, and creative hands-on activity that allows children to express themselves and connect meaningfully with the theme. My teaching style is warm, supportive, and inclusive, ensuring that every child feels heard and valued. I emphasize a child-centered approach, adapting to the unique needs of each learner. Learners will have frequent opportunities to interact with me directly through guided activities and group discussions.
