Experiencia de clase

In this class, the students and teacher will go through exercises to work on proper cheer positions. Our class will learn proper techniques for jumps and arm angles. We will then learn 1-2 general chants that can be done for any team or occasion. After each exercise we will discuss difficulties the students may have had and any discoveries or break throughs. We will end the class with a short routine that the teacher will teach.

Metas de aprendizaje

Students will learn and improve their cheerleading techniques by learning, positions, jumps, chant sequences, and a routine. This will teach them hand-eye coordination skills, agility skills, and strength tests. By the end of this class students will be ready for success as a cheerleader at home, or for a team!

I am offering this class because I am very passionate about cheer and the outlook you gain on life. I have been cheerleading for 8 years total. I started in pee-wee cheer where we had no team but we did performances. This taught me the art of performing and how to light up a stage or mat. I then went on to JV cheer and Varsity cheer. This taught me how to cheer for a team without putting down our rivals. Over all I learned how to to work as a team and how important spirit is to your daily life! This class is great to break out of a shy shell, or find an outlet for expressing your feelings.
