This Canva class will not include any live meetings, instead, the course material will be posted weekly and students can access it at their own convenience. The course will consist of pre-recorded videos that will guide students through the weekly topics for a total of 4 weeks. In addition to the videos, students will also receive access to the PowerPoint presentations used in the class, which will further enhance their learning experience.

In this course, kids will learn how to use Canva, an online design tool, to create stunning graphics and designs for their school projects and personal use. Over the course of four weeks, we will cover various topics and techniques, including:

Week 1: Introduction to Canva

Understanding Canva's user interface and basic tools
Creating a new design from scratch
Using templates and pre-made layouts
Adding text, images, and shapes

Week 2: Design Techniques
Design principles and composition
Color theory and color schemes
Typography and font pairing
Image editing and manipulation

Week 3: Advanced Features
Creating animations and GIFs
Designing for social media platforms
Collaborating and sharing designs with others
Integrating with other tools and apps

Week 4: Project Showcase and Recap
Creating a final project to showcase their skills and creativity
Reviewing the topics covered throughout the course
Sharing and presenting their projects to the class

No prior experience or knowledge is required for this course, as we will start with the basics and gradually build up to more advanced techniques.
