The aim of this Latin course is to give young Learners a taste of the Latin language by learning about the culture that spoke Latin, the Romans, and learning Latin roots. Learners will read Latin comics out-loud, with vocabulary help, to practice their Latin pronunciation and then translate the short sentences. I love Latin and the Greco-Roman world. I also have many years of experience teaching Latin to a range of ages and skills levels online and in a traditional classroom. I believe that learning should be a fun and engaging journey!

Learner must have completed Cambridge Minimus Latin and Cambridge Secundus Latin Chapters 1-4 or the equivalent.
1. The text for this class is "Minimus Secundus: Moving on in Latin" by Barbara Bell, published by Cambridge University Press. Each Learner will need a copy of the book. This book can be purchased on Amazon for about $35. 2. Notebook - for taking notes on materials not included in text book. 3. Folder - to keep homework printouts together and easily available.
