Each lesson is broken up into several short video segments for students to watch at their own pace. There are corresponding questions using the Pear Deck platform as they read/watch. (I include an approved movie link on youtube for learners who would rather not read the book) At the end, a final quiz will be given to assess their understanding.

Let's meet Snowball, Boxer, Mollie and the rest of the farm animals as we read (or watch) Animal Farm. To check comprehension of the story, corresponding questions will be asked via Pear Deck. Lección 2:
So You Want a Revolution?
Why did Orwell use these animals as a parody on revolutions? How did he portray the effects of Communism? How did "the west" feel about these political upheavals? We will interact via Pear Deck to discuss our opinions on the subject. Lección 3:
Who was George Orwell
This lesson is about the author, George Orwell. We will discuss his background, his personal beliefs and the popularity-and controversy- this book brought. A short quiz will assess comprehension to finish out the unit. Otros detalles
