In this class, I encourage students to think creatively and critically. As we move through guided tasks, we also collaborate and communicate ideas with one another.
Learners will be presented with a variety of challenges. We will work to solve puzzles, complete age appropriate analogies, and come up with creative solutions to problems and scenarios. Students will be given the opportunity to share their ideas, ask questions of their peers, and work together to improve their ideas. This would be an excellent refresher and brain stretch for gifted and talented learners, as well as extra curious and creative students. Everyone can benefit from these tasks. It is expected that some tasks will be challenging at first, but we will work together to stretch our brains!

*** Weekly Schedule ***
Each week will be different and include a combination of analogies, elaboration activities, logic puzzles, and flexible thinking activities. We will also look at prompts such as "What doesn't belong?" and finish the picture.
Content may only be repeated every 8 weeks or so. Long term students will find that they have new ideas to share and may see things with fresh eyes the second time around.
