I have long been a fan of the "Harry Potter" Series by J.K. Rowling. From the time my mother started reading the books aloud to me as a child I have been enthralled. During my teenage and college years I wrote many short stories for fan fiction. I've read most trivia books and taken thousands of "Harry Potter" themed quizzes including personality and trivia. I've read each book and seen each movie multiple times.
In 2017, I participated in Seattle Independent Bookstore Day. I was lucky enough to meet Jill Kolongowski at one of the bookstores I visited. I received a signed copy of her (at the time) recently published book "Life Lessons Harry Potter Taught Me". I was thrilled to find someone had written such a book. I have treasured this book and the lessons within.
