Darkness has descended, Voldemort and his followers are wreaking havoc all over the wizarding and muggle worlds, and for the first time since he was 11 years old, Harry Potter will not be returning to Hogwarts. Dumbledore's final charge to Harry was to complete one seemingly impossible task: find the remaining horcruxes and destroy them. Join Harry, Ron, and Hermione one last time as they embark on their daunting quest to destroy the horcruxes and finally kill Voldemort once and for all. 

In this twelve week class, learners will read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and write about their own quest to save the wizarding world! For each class meeting, learners will be expected to read 4-5 chapters from the book and be prepared to discuss them with the class. They will also be expected to complete each assignment and present their assignments in class meeting they are due. My goal as a teacher is to be a guide. I will facilitate discussions and encourage students to both give voice to their thoughts and be kind to others as they voice their own. Each lesson will be highly interactive. Students should be prepared to participate in discussions during each meeting. No prior knowledge or experience is required for this class. Students only need to bring a love for reading and discussion!
