Hello Bloxburg friends! Welcome to my Dream Home Makeover class, where we work together each week to transform a virtual home in need of improvement. In each session, we’ll meet a new virtual Roblox family and learn all about their needs, preferences, and lifestyle. Whether they’re struggling with cramped spaces, a lack of style, or a garden that could use some child-friendly magic, we’ll create thoughtful designs to give them the home they’ve been dreaming of. Each learner will have the opportunity to take charge of a specific room or area. Working within a budget and a shared vision, we’ll collaborate to renovate and reimagine every corner of the house, ensuring it reflects the family’s personality and meets their needs. This class is designed to be fun and flexible, with a new project every week. Whether you join us for one session or come back regularly, there’s always a chance to learn new design skills, share ideas, and create something wonderful together. If you enjoy working with others, solving design challenges, and turning ordinary spaces into something extraordinary, this is the perfect class for you. Let’s bring some sparkle to these virtual homes, one makeover at a time!

The website Common Sense Media rated Roblox age 13. This is largely due to the unmoderated nature of the games, and the ability to chat. This class will include gameplay in a private neighborhood, with only the other class participants, so this is a safer way to interact with the game. The participants will need to become an in-game friend with the teacher for the duration of the class.
Requisitos previos
This class is best suited to learners with basic building skills. You don't need to be an expert, just to know how to locate and place items in the build menu. If you're unsure, you can try my Bloxburg Build Clinic class first!

Hi, I'm Astrid and I am a mum of two, and a teacher based in the United Kingdom. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics, and I have a Postgraduate degree in teaching Design and Technology. I have worked in schools for over 14 years, and am excited to bring my skills to an online platform.
I love to cook (unless it's dinner - e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y!!), to craft, and my guilty pleasure is gaming! I play Brawl Stars every single day, and I love Roblox (especially Bloxburg!) and Among Us! I am a HUGE Pokémon nerd and love to play Pokémon Go. Expect to see my classes based around these things, because when you love something, it's easy to enthuse others!
I love working with young people and sharing my love of craft & design, textiles, food and gaming, in a fun, engaging and inclusive way. Through seeing the difficulties of my own neurodivergent children in mainstream education, I know first hand of the importance of inclusivity, and strive to make my own lessons both enjoyable and accessible to any learner who wishes to enrol. I like to lead by example, and "make and do" along with the learners, so I am able to cater for a variety of learning styles.
Most of my classes are ongoing, weekly sessions, but these can be also used as one-time classes.
In the aftermath of these difficult times of social distancing, my gaming classes provide a great way for young people to safely connect with their peers and have fun!

My class policies:
Subscription (ongoing) classes are billed weekly on a Sunday and can be cancelled on the learner page at any time in advance. Please feel free to attend my ongoing classes just once, by stopping the subscription after class.
Refunds cannot be offered for missed classes, but I offer a flexible transfer policy. Transfer requests must be made 24 hours in advance, and to a different time slot of the same class. Thank you for supporting these policies, that help me maintain smaller class sizes.Reseñas
