****PLEASE NOTE - I've adjusted the age range for this class, from 8-15 (for most Big Picture histories) to 10-15, because of the complexity of the political topics involved.  The political history of European culture is a challenging topic, and younger students who do not have a background context will probably struggle with this history.****
