In this next installment in the "Big Picture History" series, Mr. Powell of www.HistoryAtOurHouse.com will give you an overview of the cradle of Western civilization. You will learn how the method of Anchor Facts (TM) applies to the study of classical civilizations, and you will see how ancient Greece will always be a part of THE WORLD WE LIVE IN. No prior knowledge of Ancient Greek history is required. Parents and students who have tried to learn the history of ancient Greece, but who have been frustrated by being unable to grasp the "big picture" will find the class especially helpful. Students who already understand parts of the story will finally see how they fit together! All families that participate in the live sessions will also receive permanent access to the Youtube screencast recording for repeat learning and enjoyment. In addition, students will be guided to produce their own Anchor Fact(TM) timelines and narratives to cement their understanding. Higher levels courses will also be available for students who wish to pursue a more intensive insight into the ancient world and who need help preparing to meet state-based standards for world history or college entrance requirements. It's never too late to start learning history properly once and for all! This is the BIG PICTURE of Ancient Greece-- for you and your child.
