Hola! Welcome to Ms. Patty's Spanish for beginners class!

In this class, students will learn the basics of conversational Spanish in an interactive, colorful, and engaging way! We will focus primarily on speaking skills with a little bit of letter sound practice thrown in. My goal is to have students speaking Spanish quickly with useful every day practical vocabulary.  

Each class will introduce a new theme and topic then we will practice using our new vocabulary and phrases! It is not necessary to have any prior Spanish language instruction for these classes.

September 6: Colors, Shapes, and Sizes

September 13: Mi Familia

September 27: Las Estacions- Verano/ Seasons-Summer

October 4 : Las Estaciones - Otono - Mira! / Fall -Look!

October 11: La Escuela/ School 

October 18: Las Estaciones -Primavera - Que es?/ Spring- What is?

October 25: Las Estaciones- Invierno/Winter

November 1: Como Estas?/How are you?

November 8:  Mi Casa / My House

November 15:  Me Gusta/ What I Like

November 22: En el Bosque/ In the Forest

November 29: Adentro y Afuera/ In and Out

December 6 : La Cuidad/ In the City

December 13: Debajo y Encima/ Under and Above

December 20 : Grande y Pequeno/ Big and Small

January 10: Vamos a Campamento/ Let's Go Camping

January 17: Ropa con Fido / Clothing with Fido   Mi Closet

January 24: El invierno / Winter

January 31:  El Jardin/ In the Garden

February 7:  Bebes de Animales / Baby Animals

February 14: Carlos Cuenta Gatitos / Carlos Counts Cats

February 21: Cerca y Lejos / Near and Far

February 28:  Amarillo y Azul / Yellow and Blue

March 6 : Blanco y Morado / White and Purple

March 13: Repaso/Review

March 20 and 27: Break. We resume after Spring Break with the topics starting from the beginning.
