Introducción a las ciencias de la Tierra: los recursos naturales de la Tierra

Earth is amazing!  In this class, young learners will learn all about our planet Earth.  What is on the Earth's surface?  How does the land on Earth change?  What are Earth's resources?  This class will help to answer those questions and more!  In this class, I will teach very important science vocabulary that corollates with different aspects of Earth's Resources.  Each lesson will be taught using lots of pictures and discussion to help children have a better understanding of what is being taught.  Each class will build on each other to help young learners fully understand all about Earth, the resources that we use from it and how we can protect those natural resources.  Activities will be done in each class.  I will provide all handouts needed before each class begins.

Day 1- What does Earth's surface look like? + drawing activity
Day 2- Rocks & Soil + Rocks/minerals sharing & drawing activity
Day 3- The Changing Land (erosion & weathering) + drawing activity 
Day 4- Earth's Resources + sorting activity
Day 5- Using Earth's Resources + sorting activity
Day 6- Saving Earth's Resources + sorting activity + Review all that was learned about Earth's resources
