Week  1 - The first class will be an introduction. This class will cover what it is that we are learning and how we sign what we are learning. It will cover how to introduce yourself, sign your name and sign the ASL Animal alphabet. We will practice with 10 first signs that we will commonly use through out the classes. We will learn about finger spelling and practice with finger spelling using the ASL alphabet chart. 
Week 2 - We will practice with everyday phrases. We will learn how to sign Feelings. We will play a review game to review vocabulary. 
Week 3 - We will review what was learned during week 2 and practice ASL numbers and play a review game to review ASL signs for numbers. 
Week 4- We will practice signs for colors. We will practice a brief chat using signs for colors. We will practice signing a favorite color and play as ASL review game to cover signs we have learned through out the class.
Week 5- We will learn and practice ASL Signs for food and drink. We will practice signs for foods and drinks with an ASL food and drinks flip chart. We will play a guess the food game using signs we have learned. We will practice how to sign a food and drink you like and do not like.
Week 6- We will learn and practice signs for Family and Friends with a signs for Family practice sheet. We will play a hot seat game to review different signing themes we have had through out the course. We will practice how to sign who is in your family and something that your family and friends like to do together. 
Week 7 - We will learn and practice signs for hobbies and sports. We will play a guess the hobby game and practice a brief signing chat to be able to sign 5 interests. 
Week 8- We will learn signs for daily routine and around the home. We will practice with signing a day at home or a day at school. We will conclude this 8 week class with signing a short story that includes signing topics that we have covered. 
This class is for starting to learn and for everything we practice there will be an option to sign it together or on your own.
