Verbos y conjugaciones en español para principiantes

In this 8 week (16 meeting) class, learners will begin by learning Spanish pronouns before progressing into verbs and their conjugations, vocabulary, present continuous, past and future tense conjugations, and ending with building sentences and a review. There will be a review at the halfway point to practice the verbs before moving from present tense to present continuous and past and future tenses. This class will involve reading and writing as well as pictures and activities to learn, practice, and review the information. Throughout the class we will create charts to use as a reference for word endings. 
Additional practice/homework sheets will be posted in the classroom after classes 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14, and 15. Students are highly encouraged to complete these. They can be graded upon request.
All students will receive a certificate of completion after the final class.
Here is a break down of the class schedule:
1: Pronouns. We will spend this class learning and practicing Spanish Pronouns. We will also set up the chart we will use in future classes.
2: AR Verbs. We will learn the ten most commonly used verbs that end in AR and their meanings.
3: AR Verb Conjugations. We will use the 10 previous verbs and work to conjugate them in the present tense.
4: ER & IR Verbs. We will learn 10 of the most common verbs that end in er and ir and their meanings.
5: Er & IR Verb Conjugations. We will use the previously learned verbs and work to conjugate them in the present tense.
6: Irregular Verbs. We will learn 13 of the most commonly used irregular verbs and their meanings.
7: Irregular Verb Conjugations. We will use the 13 previous vocabulary words and work to conjugate them in the present tense.
8: Review. We will review and practice all the verbs and their present tense conjugations through several activities.
9: Present Continuous. We will learn how to transform verbs into the present continuous tense and practice the tense with the previously learned verbs.
10: Vocabulary. Students will learn additional vocabulary to help them create full sentences.
11: Adjectives and Adverbs. We will learn up to 15 descriptive words for students to use to describe their vocabulary and verbs.
12: Past and Future Tense for AR Verbs. We will learn the past and future conjugations for the previously learned AR verbs.
13: Past and Future Tense for ER & IR Verbs. We will learn the past and future conjugations for the previously learned ER & IR verbs.
14: Past and Future Tense for Irregular Verbs. We will learn the past and future conjugations for the previously learned Irregular verbs.
15: Sentence Building. We will  learn to create sentences in Spanish using all previously learned information.
16: Review. We will do several activities to review everything we learned in class for the past 8 weeks.
