Welcome to Mr. Axel's studio! I am a passionate music performer and music educator.  My years of experience as a teacher have shaped a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom musically and technically. I truly believe music can play a big role in students' success by exploring so many skills for communication, listening, memorization, precision, patience, and organization. More technically would be an exploration and development of motor skills & reflexes, physical coordination and posturing, discipline & focus, analytical skills, and so on.

In this online piano class, students learn the basics of piano playing from the comfort of their own homes. I believe in the importance of having a foundation in classical technique, and also I like to keep learning new material as a piano repertoire. We have an extended palette of musical work that I always use in our lessons in order to accomplish a good performing experience. 

I will give you all the tools you need to start your musical journey. We will also have fun learning songs and pieces that inspire you and explore different musical styles such as pop, rock, jazz, musicals, famous movie songs, and classical pieces.

The piano lessons can be set up weekly, twice per week, or biweekly. This class is ongoing; therefore, you can start at any time and cancel classes at any time. If you do not see a time that suits your schedule, please contact me and request a time. I am always happy to accommodate!
