In this class we will be collecting items from our kitchen to make the classic French treat: crêpes! As we gather our ingredients and cooking tools, we will learn some vocabulary in French for the things we are using to cook. We will discuss culturally how crêpes are made and consumed in France- from a sit down dinner or lunch to street food! We will learn what toppings can be included with our crêpes, and then create our batter together. I will demonstrate proper technique for making the crêpes, and then students will get to work making their own. At the end we will share the toppings we brought and enjoy a tasty snack that we can share with our family!

This will be a very active class, learners will be working in the kitchen to make crepes! We will support students with a variety of needs.
Orientación para padres
Students will need to use the stove in this class, but no other kitchen equipment except for measuring tools.
Ingredients include dairy, eggs, and wheat- if I know in advance, I can provide allergen free alternatives to any of these products.
Requisitos previos
Students need to be able to use a pan on the stove.
