Class Details:

⏰ Class Duration: Each class lasts 40 minutes, providing plenty of time for interactive learning and participation.
📝 Extra Activities: Additional activities are available to complete after class to further refine skills.
🗣️ Language of Instruction: Since this is an A1 Beginner Level, class instructions will mostly be given in French, with explanations and translations in English. All lesson materials will be in French.

Lily (Eliane) Arsenault
Mme. Lily (Eliane) Arsenault has a B.A. From Laurentien University. She also obtained a Neuro-Linguistics Practitioner Diploma specializing in French and a Child Development and Education Diploma. She is very passionate about the French language and culture. She also loves dogs! Mme. Lily is a native French speaker with over 4 years of French teaching experience. She is a trained and qualified Inspire Tutors French Teacher. She currently lives in Canada.

Jorgelina Falcon
Mme. Jorgelina graduated with the title of Professorat en Français and a B.A. in teaching Philosophy with a specialization for teaching children. She also received her TEF C1, and international DELF A1, A2, B1, B2 examiner certifications.  Coming from a family of educators and 8 years of teaching experience, Jorgelina brings a rich and diverse background and creativity to her 1-on-1 and group French and Spanish classes/programs.  With students of all ages from elementary school to university, Jorgelina loves learning about their cultures and sharing her passion for winter, k-pop, and her favourite colour pink.

Patrisha Ugalino
Mme. Patrisha studied French Linguistics and Literature at Concordia University. She has experience in 1-on-1 tutoring with children between ages 8-10 years old for French Immersion. She has always been passionate about learning languages such as French and Spanish. To get more practice, she watches tv shows or listens to music in this language. Apart from that, her other hobbies include design, photography & coding.

Mits Mangsat
Mme. Mits has a French Major Bachelor’s Degree in Languages and Intercultural Relations. She has completed multiple French certificates such as French Phonetics and French Language Teaching Methodologies during her university career in Toronto, Canada. She has experience working with elementary and high school students and is passionate about creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Outside of work, she loves biking, traveling, and music/singing.

Kiana Landry
Mme. Kiana Landry is Canadian and she grew up speaking fluent French and English. Mme. Kiana is currently learning a third language herself and is certainly a language lover! Kiana is a certified trainer and has been teaching French for over 3 years. Dedicated, creative, and energetic, Mme. Kiana can ensure an encouraging and optimal learning atmosphere for her learners and share her passion for the French language.

Hema Appalsawmy 
Mme. Hema is a certified elementary school teacher. She also possesses a BA in Psychology with Education. With an MA in Education specializing in innovation in teaching and learning, Mme. Appalsawmy has taught not only in elementary and high schools but also in tertiary educational institutions and French Immersion classes. A native French speaker, Mme. Hema has 23 years of teaching experience. Passionate about teaching, Mme. Hema always goes above and beyond to provide her learners with a safe, fun, and meaningful environment to learn. Her strong background in counseling and child and youth cognitive development gives her an edge in lesson development and making learning meaningful for her students. Outside of school, Mme. Hema enjoys singing and attending her yoga classes.

Geneviève Baldassarre
Mme. Geneviève is a passionate language teacher with over 10 years of experience. She has a degree from Concordia and is completing her Master’s in Clinical Psychology. She has worked with students of all ages and levels in different countries. She also has experience with students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and Tourette’s. Her goal is to always provide a safe and inclusive environment for students so they can feel secure. She loves teaching languages and helping students with their goals in any way she can. Most of all, she loves learning from her students because they teach her more than anything. Mme. Geneviève’s experience with yoga and French has been to use movement and mindfulness to teach and incorporate the language. She has worked with small groups and classes of up to 30 people. Though they are big classes, she makes an effort to tend to each student and offer corrections and encouragement personally. The language is taught through translations and small steps. Over time, more is added, and it becomes more natural. In her free time, she loves to surf, hike, and practice yoga every day.

Marcela Gomez
Mme. Marcela Gomez has a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages, a degree in Child Development and Learning Processes, and is certified in Montessori Education. She has more than 11 years of experience teaching languages to children and adults. She is committed to delivering engaging lessons customized to her students’ interests and goals. Mme. Marcela lives in Montreal, where she enjoys the cultural and vibrant vibe of the city as well as long walks in nature.

Anastasia (Ana) Timosina
Mme. Anastasia is currently completing her Bachelor of Administration in Marketing and Project Management while living in Quebec. She holds a CEGEP degree in social sciences from Dawson College. Her love for teaching began in her teenage years, volunteering to tutor high school students in her neighbourhood that needed help in various topics. With over four years of tutoring experience, she loves feeling proud about her students succeeding and learning something new from her. A natural polyglot, Anastasia actually has learned and spoken a total of 8 languages in her life, currently speaking three languages (French, English, Russian) on a daily basis, while learning Norwegian in her free time. She learned French at the ages of 7, when she moved to Canada. Anastasia's keen observational skills make her a very observant teacher. She can quickly spot patterns in her students' learning and adapt her approach to help them succeed. Whenever she is not studying for school or languages, she loves travelling, dancing, writing, and hiking/running.

Olivia Charles
Mme. Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages from the University of Lethbridge and completed her final semester at Université de Laval in Quebec City. Having grown up in Alberta, she learned French through the Immersion program, where she completed her entire schooling in French.
With over four years of French tutoring experience, she has a strong foundation in teaching and supporting students in their language learning journey. Olivia also has a background as a competitive swimmer for 11 years and a competitive swim coach for 8 years. She enjoys sharing her passion for French by teaching private 1-on-1 lessons to the athletes she coaches. In addition to tutoring, she works as a lifeguard and summer camp leader. In her free time, she enjoys making jewelry, singing, and drawing. Olivia is passionate about creating a fun and welcoming environment for her students to learn French.
