Did you know: the juice from the bulbs of a hyacinth can be used like glue and it was even once used to bind books? In this one-time class we will spend time chatting as we create a beautiful hyacinth piece of art using just 3 simple items: paper, glue and a scissors. I will have examples of the flower that I will show learners in class and I will construct my own flowers along with the learners so they can learn as they craft. This is a fun way to spend the day and the end result is stunning! My teaching style is laid back and gentle. I like to have all learners keep their mics unmuted and I like to engage with them if there is time. These beautiful flowers look fantastic in a vase on the counter or even as a bouquet for a flower girl.

"The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires." --William Arthur Ward
Hello! My name is Tiffany and I strive to inspire young minds. I am passionate about young learners and want to inspire children to not only love what they are learning but also to apply the lessons to their lives.
I have been teaching for about 8 years. I mainly teach ESL classes to children who are around the age of 5. I have many projects myself and love the following topics: hydroponics, aquaponics, bullying, hygiene and art. If you have other suggestions please don't hesitate to make those known to me.
I am a world traveler and have been to more than 25 countries. It's vital to never stop learning. I think taking the classroom out of the classroom and into the world can truly open someone's mind and create bonds of empathy and inclusion. I want to bring this viewpoint into each of my classes.

Things to keep in mind:
1) My goal is to keep classes as close to the allotted time frame as possible. However, some classes with higher enrollment may run a few minutes over. If a learner needs to leave at the scheduled end time they are welcome to exit. A class with low enrollment might end a few minutes early but this is rare.
2) You know your child better than I do so if they would benefit from a particular method of teaching or type of encouragement than don't hesitate to make that known to me.
3) Classes that don't meet the minimum number of learners will likely be taught but parents will likely be contacted the day before to inquire about their preferences. Some classes are best experienced with other learners so these will automatically be cancelled and learners will be asked about which class they can be transferred to.
4) Classes will begin at the scheduled time, even if all learners are not in the classroom. I will be focusing on the students in class so will not be able to respond to emails or chat messages from parents not in class. Thanks for understanding.
5) I will wait 10 minutes before exiting the classroom if no students show up. Please reach out to me to let me know how I can help after class if an emergency arose that prevented your young one from joining.
