Athletes will become better basketball players in this course. Each class will start with some warm-up drills. Athletes will participate in: Ball handling drills: Learn to dribble with both left and right hands while stationary and while moving. Switching the ball from one hand to the other. Fun and engaging drills and games will be played to reinforce these skills. Shooting technique and drills Passing technique and drills Rebounding technique and drills Agility Drills: Basic movement drills to improve balance, coordination, and speed. Conditioning Drills: Fun exercises and games to improve athletes cardiovascular endurance. Defensive Footwork: Awesome drills to work on defensive stance and movements. Equipment: Basketball and 4 markers (Cones, shoes, cans, books, ect.)

Athletes will learn the basic fundamentals of basketball and improve their self-confidence.

Athletes should have an open area of about 15 - 20 feet, wear gym shoes, and have a water bottle. Parent supervision is important to minimize chance of injuries.
