In this fun ongoing course, students will learn about the star players of today in Major League Baseball.  We will introduce a countless number of players, covering each team in the league and each position.  We will go over players such as the giant power hitters of Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge in New York, to the young 3 in Toronto in Biggio, Bichette and Guerrero.  Who are the hardest throwers in the league?  What rookies will shape the future of the game?  Each team and each position has its own story, own style, and own set of stars players.  

Students will be able to walk away from the class with a greater understanding of players in Major League Baseball and be able to follow the game at a new level and feel more confident talking baseball with their friends.  

We will use PowerPoint presentations, have fun trivia, show videos, and more.

The class will be interactive with the students allowing them to ask questions, share thoughts, and give direction in where we go with the class.  

The class ranges from the student that knows little to nothing about Major League players to the student that wants a deeper knowledge about players around the league.

Week1:  Best Outfielders / Players on the Dodgers
Week 2:  Today's Short Stops / Trivia / Players on the Yankees
Week 3:  Power Hitters / Trivia / Low Budget Teams
Week 4:  Starting Pitchers / Trivia / NL East
Week 5:  Rookies to watch / Trivia / AL East
Week 6:  Catchers / Trivia / NL Central
Week 7:  Hard Throwing Pitchers / Trivia / AL Central
Week 8:  Pick Your Starting 9 / NL West

Hello everyone
I am former Major League Baseball player and current Major League coach with the Chicago White Sox.  I have grown up around the game of baseball developing a passion for everything from rules to the history of the sport.  I will be teaching classes on the rules of game, the history of the sport and strategies of how to play.  I will share my knowledge, experiences and passion for the game through classes that will be taught in a fun and positive way.  I want to help grow the American Pastime one student at a time.   I will create classes for those who have no to little knowledge on the sport, and for those who already have a good understanding.  Please join me in having some fun, learning about baseball.
