In this one time class, students will begin by introducing themselves and their Barbie Doll to the class and telling us something unique about you and your doll! After we introduce ourselves, we will begin with a warm up and stretch. During class, we will be learning some fun, basic Jazz and Hip Hop moves, play fun Barbie dance games with our dolls, and learn a unique dance routine to one of our favorite songs by Barbie! We will also play a fun game of Barbie Doll Freeze Dance at the end of class where you and your doll can show off all of your super cool new dance moves! Grab your favorite Barbie Doll and join me and my Barbie on this fun dance adventure! No experience is required, this is a beginner class. Please have comfortable clothes and shoes on, barefoot is also fine. Also have a water bottle nearby, we will take a couple of water breaks during class. I hope to see you there, I can't wait to dance with you and your Barbie!

Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space that is in a clear area, where they have room to extend their arms out side to side and front to back. Also, it's a good idea for your child to have water nearby and wear comfortable clothing.

I have been dancing since I was four and love to be able to connect with others and share my passion and love of dance! I teach all levels of dance in several styles, with a focus on Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theatre. At the start of each class, we will take a few minutes to introduce ourselves. Then we will begin by warming up our body, learn dance steps, and learn a fun dance routine!
I have worked for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. During my time there, I danced in parades and shows across WDW property, and performed as many characters including Alice in Wonderland and Wendy Darling from Peter Pan. I have worked for Disney Cruise Line, performing on the Disney Dream. I also worked as a Magician's assistant, working for Drew Thomas Magic. I danced and help perform illusions during the show. We performed locally at many conventions as well as traveling all over the country and even travelling on tour on a tour bus, and in Canada. I danced for The Orlando Predators Dance Team, local dance clinics and master classes, and have choreographed for Fiverr.com. I have been teaching on an off over the past 15 years and have been teaching consecutively for the past three years after moving to Vermont to help my sister at her dance studio where I currently teach.
There are so many life lessons that can be learned while taking dance class. Exercise, musicality and rhythm, focus, and respect. I believe that dance is great for the mind, body, and soul. Most important, is to have fun!
I currently reside in Jeffersonville, VT with my two kitties Binx and CJ. I love to do all kinds of different crafts and projects and I love going on adventures with my two nephews who live nearby! If you have ever wanted to try a dance class and/or couldn't find the time or location to take a class, now you can enjoy taking a class from your own home!
