Serie de ballet: Érase una vez

Do you have an interest in learning and practicing basic ballet moves while practicing balance and coordination?  (This class is great for any learner who wants to learn fun basic ballet steps or learners who have some ballet experience and want to review and practice following directions).

Each class will introduce basic ballet moves and will gently progress.  We will use a variety of instrumental/classical music from Fairy Tales and Ballets (Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Frozen, Cinderella and MORE).   Learners will be guided through basic dance steps and then follow the teacher as she leads a dance using steps from class.  Learners will also have the opportunity to be creative with how they move!  They will be given pointers on how to stay on the beat and have good musicality.  We will also practice pronouncing the ballet vocabulary and learn the meaning of many ballet steps.  


⭐️ Class One:  Plie, Releve, Tendu, Stretch, Grand Battement, Port de bras, 1st Arabesque, Saute


⭐️ Class Two:  Plie, Tendu, Stretch, Pique, Attitude Devant, Bourree/Bourree Turn



⭐️ Class Three:  Plie/Grande Plie Tendu from 5th Position, Stretch, Changement, Soutenu Turn



⭐️ Class Four:  Plie/ Grande Plie, Tendu, Stretch, Coupe, Fondu, Tendu Passe, Emboite



⭐️ Class Five:  Plie/Grande Plie, Tendu, Degage, Stretch, Glissade, Chases, Sauté Arabesque



(We will do Plies, Tendus and a Stretch every class as they are a fundamental part of dancing and used to execute most moves)

*Dance experience is helpful but not required for this class.

*This class has a flexible age range.  Moves are basic but may be fast and require a bit of practice.

*Pre-recorded Classes are great for busy schedules as you can do them at a time that is best for your schedule.  You can also pause and go back if you need a step repeated or more time to practice each part of the dance.
