Experiencia de clase

Students will learn how to bake delicious creations, including cakes, pies, and tarts. Students will learn intermediate baking skills, such as customizing recipes, working with dough, and decorating, and will get to practice social skills. Students will bake together with other students and the instructor and get the chance to collaborate on recipes, ask questions, and share their creations with other students. This is an intermediate baking camp and is intended for students who have some experience baking and are familiar with measuring, mixing, and testing to see if baked goods are done. 

On Day 1 of camp, we will bake cupcakes and make pie crust
On Day 2 of camp, we will finish our pies and make tart shells. 
On Day 3 of camp, we will finish our tarts and decorate our cupcakes.

Students will learn baking skills and get to practice social skills.

Orientación para padres

Students will be working in the kitchen and using kitchen supplies and ovens. Parents are encouraged to supervise children as needed in the kitchen. Additionally, recipes include allergens, including wheat and dairy, but substitutions can be made. Parents are encouraged to contact me with any allergies or dietary restrictions so that I can provide alternative recipes or ingredient lists.

I will post ingredient and supply lists in the classroom at least a week prior to the start of camp. Please contact me if you are unable to get any of the ingredients or supplies.

As a certified child life specialist, I am trained in teaching kids of all ages through play and exploration. Baking is my favorite hobby and I love sharing it with others. I currently teach multiple baking classes on Outschool and am excited to start offering camps this summer!
