Each week, we will learn about a new and fun aspect of science. We will perform a hands on experiment to get up close and personal with science. 
We will focus on understanding different areas of science and how they pertain to the world. These subjects include, but are not limited to,: biology, chemistry, physical science, and genetics.
Class will begin with a brief introduction of the topic that we will be learning about that week. Any needed worksheets or lab sheets will be uploaded to the classroom prior to class for that week. Supply lists will also be uploaded to the classroom to allow parents time to make any needed purchases. The teacher will work to ensure that items are low cost and easily available. After an introduction to the topic, we will go through our supply checklist to be sure that students are prepared before we begin. Then we will dive into our lesson, which may include brief videos to help further concepts. After our lesson, the fun really begins with our hands on experiment. Some experiments to keep an eye out for are: an at home lava lamp, snap circuits, a simple at home motor, creating light using a lemon, and other super fun experiments.
As experiments are performed. the teacher will check in with students to be sure that they are having success with their projects. Troubleshooting experiments will also occur during class to help students have as much success as possible.
