Artsy Gamers Club: ¡Dibujemos arte manga y anime con personajes de videojuegos!

Outline:
Each session we will discuss and draw a different video game character. Class will begin with a short Google Slides presentation and discussion of one of everyone's favorite video game characters followed by step by step instructions on the drawing portion of class. Students will always have the opportunity to ask a question about any step. At the end of class, students will vote on the next video game to be drawn which could include characters from Animal Crossing, Mario Bros., Final Fantasy, Zelda, Pokémon, Genshin Impact and many more! 

Teaching Style:
I like to teach in a way that allows for students to be creative and encourages students to participate and ask questions. The main objective for this class is to provide a fun environment where students can meet fellow gamers. Students are free to interact with one another during class and discuss their favorite game.

Experience:
No previous experience or knowledge is required. I would recommend this class to any student remotely interested in video games. Students don't need to be gamers.

Materials Needed:
Pencil (traditional / mechanical), sketchpad / sheet of paper, eraser, pen (optional for outlining drawing at the end of class). I will be using a tablet with the program Autodesk Sketchbook.
