When teaching crafts/art, I love using different tools to complete our crafts to expand our artistic creativity. 
In this class, instead of just using a paint brush to paint our sunflower we will also use a fork (plastic or metal) and our fingers.
On a piece of paper we will use a paint brush to paint our stem and leaf, then we will use our fingers to dot the center of a flower. Lastly we will use a fork dipped in paint, and create our sunflower petals. We will discuss how these different tools gave a completely different texture/look.
Throughout class I will share facts about sunflowers to keep the learners minds engaged. We will show off our beautiful art work at the end!
*In my craft/art classes no experience is necessary. I let learners know that each of us are unique artists therefore our art will not look identical. I encourage individual style and that we can embrace our art even if there are imperfections.*
