Nivel Beginner - Advanced
In this class, I will teach students about basics of art and how to utilize their talents. These lessons are for pre-teens, ages 10-15 years old. Sketching, dimensions, color theory, painting, learning how to format a piece, are all taught in these lessons. This class is structured as a private, one on one tutoring lesson. - Learning how to start a piece and which elements to use.
- Students will learn about the variety of tools, such as different types of pencils, paints and other mediums used in art.
- Students will gain confidence and the ability to take their art to another level.
- Students will learn how to sketch, utilize art tools and the fundamentals of drawing.
I have an Associate Degree in Arts from Hopkinsville Community College and am currently attending the University of Western Kentucky to obtain my bachelor's degree in health sciences. I own an art gallery and have been an artist for over 20 years. I have worked with kids for most of my life. Awarded most outstanding camp counselor at Oakland City camp best friends in Atlanta, Georgia. I have written and published many children's books as well.

None required. Beginners are welcomed.
Drawing paper or blank copy paper, art pencils, acrylic paints and brushes. Students may use crayons and color pencils as well. Parents may email me for specifics, in reference to the students needs.
May reference cartoons and other characters for the students to create their own art. References will be kept at an appropriate level.
