In this one-time interactive, lecture-style class students will learn about how different people crave and need different sensory input. We will talk about what our senses are and what kinds of input you can get for each sense. We will learn what it means to be a sensory seeker or a sensory avoider, I will also ask the students if they think they are sensory seekers or avoiders, or some of each. 

This class is great for helping children to understand that everyone has different sensory needs, and what their sensory needs are. This class is beneficial to all students but is particularly helpful to students who are autistic, ADHD, or have sensory processing disorders, as these students tend to have more demanding sensory needs.  

This class is inclusive, which means that students of all abilities are welcome. If your student needs any accommodations please let me know and we will work together to ensure the best possible class experience.
