Course Overview:
AP Psychology is an introductory college-level course that explores the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the major theories, concepts, and methods in psychology. Through reading, discussion, and application of psychological principles, students will develop critical thinking, research, and analytical skills.

Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will:
* Develop a deep understanding of the major concepts, theories, and historical perspectives in psychology.
* Acquire knowledge of the biological bases of behavior, cognitive processes, and social and developmental psychology.
* Understand research methods and statistical analysis used in psychological studies.

* Prepare for the AP Psychology exam by practicing with past exam questions and mock tests.

What will be taught?
This AP Psychology class covers the fundamentals of psychology as outlined by the College Board. Students will learn about various psychological theories, research methods, biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, learning and cognition, developmental psychology, motivation, emotion, and social psychology.
