With its emphasis on critical thinking, analytical skills, and historical interpretation, this curriculum provides students with a deep understanding of Europe's complex history from the Renaissance to modern times. Through engaging lectures, interactive discussions, and in-depth readings, students explore key events such as the Protestant Reformation, French Revolution, World Wars I and II, and the Cold War. The Gina Jude Curriculum is structured to help students make connections between different time periods and understand how historical forces have shaped contemporary society. Additionally, the curriculum includes practice exams and essay assignments that allow students to hone their writing skills while also familiarizing themselves with the format of the AP exam. Overall, Gina Jude's approach to teaching AP European History ensures that students are well-prepared to excel academically while also gaining a deeper appreciation for Europe's rich cultural heritage.

Period 2: c. 1648 to c. 1815
Period 3: c. 1815 to c. 1914
