In this class I will teach students a skeleton overview of what will be covered in the first semester of a typical AP European History course.  I have developed this class to enrich the background knowledge of students so they can confidently begin their study of AP Euro knowing that they have a leg up on the material.  

I love history and try to make my classes engaging and fun.  I also know how difficult this information can be, so I provide tricks to help keep the information organized  and memorable, including a timeline project and mnemonic devices. 

For each class I will: 

*  Build the class around "watershed dates" for each unit to aid in memorization and to help students see how the events connect with each other. 

*  provide a detailed lecture and a Google slides presentation on the topics for each lesson.  Presentations may include video clips, works of art, or audio files.

*  provide links to outside resources they may use to learn more about each topic. 

* access to Quizlet and Blooket review games on the major topics from each class.
