In this 3-day class, students will learn to recognize and identify animal signs, tracks (prints), and scat (poo). Animal tracking is an excellent skill to develop that connects us to nature and can be done at any time of the year.   

Students will become nature detectives as they learn how to “read” the clues left behind in nature to discover what critters live in a given environment. Wild animals can be hard to spot as they’re quite shy and many creatures only come out at night. But if you keep your eyes peeled while you’re exploring, you’ll find lots of signs of animal activity.  Once you know what to look for, these signs, prints, and poo become a thrilling discovery that tells a fascinating story.
