Beginners are welcome and encouraged to join! Especially if they do not have access to the bug off on their own island! In this class students will.... - learn what the "Bug off is - learn about Flick and how to utilize him to make bells - learn to work as a team to catch the maximum number of bugs to maximize points - attempt to collect all of the limited edition "bug off" items - build friendships with similarly aged Animal Crossing gamers Class will begin with a welcoming introduction where students will be given the chance to introduce themselves and a fun fact about Animal Crossing. Following introductions, a short review of classroom rules will be presented. Next, students will be reminded of the objective as well as the above topics that will be covered. Using google slides, students will learn what the "Bug off is, and learn about Flick and how to utilize him to make bells. Lastly, students will be given a Dodo Code to come to my island and islands of students that choose open up their gates to participate in the bug off to work as a team to catch the maximum number of bugs to maximize points (this will occur on the Nintendo Switch). The event is limited, so students will be given all of the tools necessary to attempt to collect ALL of the "Limited Edition Bug off" Items. Students will be encouraged to make new friends and encouraged to participate in the bug off together outside of class as well. My final goal for this class is for students to build friendships with similarly aged Animal Crossing gamers.

Hello,
My name is Sarah De Los Santos and I am a third year kindergarten teacher. I am so grateful that I have finally achieved my goal in becoming an educator, and I am especially grateful that I get to teach kindergarten. I have a passion for teaching social-skills, communication, and problem-solving, and this is so essential in Kindergarten. I have also been teaching on Outschool for over 2 years. Outschool allowed me to teach social-skills, communication, and problem-solving in a time was impossible for people to come together in person. I was able to create fun and enjoyable classes that incorporated play and gaming to ease students into a social environment to help them learn or build on their social-skills, communication, and problem-solving skills.
As an educator my ultimate goal is to provide students with necessary skills to succeed in life, and while subjects like math are important, I strive to teach students skills like problem-solving and communication because these are the skills that are needed to live productive lives while in turn help with the core subjects. Therefore in my classes you will find that my focus is on character development that focus on improving life skills such as, problem solving, goal setting, communication, and positive mental attitude through more creative outlets such as bullet journaling, video games and other types of creative outlets. My goal is to reach students on a personal level to get them motivated and empower them to become the best version of themselves.
