All About Spelling uses multisensory learning. Kinesthetic learning includes building words with letter tiles, segmenting words with tokens, and writing words, phrases, and sentences. Visual learning includes watching direct instruction of spelling concepts with the colored tiles, seeing the words written down, reading the word banks, and looking at the review cards. Auditory learning includes verbally reviewing the review cards, segmenting words out loud, and saying the phonogram's sound as it is written. During the first week I will review the first 29 phonograms. Next, we will focus on segmenting initial and final blends. Then we will learn the Soft C, Floss, and CK rule. Each week I will incorporate the following activities: 1. Review phonogram cards, sound cards, key cards, and word cards. 2. Introduce a new spelling concept through direct modeling with the tiles followed by guided practice with the tiles, guided practice in the activity book, independent practice in writing, and application in writing in a word or phrase. 3. Assess your child's progress through their understanding of review cards and demonstration of the spelling concept in writing. Review Lessons 1 to 13
We will review the short vowel sounds and the consonant teams SH, TH, and CH. Students will build words with a variety of short vowel sounds and consonant teams. They will write words, phrases, and sentences that contain short vowels and consonant teams.

Lección 2:
Assess Lessons 1 to 13
Students will work with partners in breakout rooms to spell words that we have learned while I assess which phonogram and key cards each student knows. As a class I will assess which sound cards each student knows and which we need to review.

Lección 3:
Final Blends
We will review the phonogram and key cards. Students will take turns reading through the word bank for short I. I will model how to segment words with blends. Students will practice segmenting words with blends using tokens. Then we will segment words using the segmenting cards in the activity book. Students will build final blends words with their tiles.

Lección 4:
Blends at the End
We will review the sound cards and word cards then alphabetize the tiles. Students will write words on their word search and then find them if they wish. They will write more words with blends on the camping equipment cards. Students will write phrases with words that contain blends.

Students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD will benefit from the Orton-Gillingham style instruction.
Requisitos previos
Students should have completed the first half of level one of All About Spelling or a similar program that covers short vowels as well as TH, SH, and CH.

If you purchase the physical letter tiles, you will need a large magnetic white board and a dry erase marker. The magnetic whiteboard is so that students can easily hold up the words they make for me to see. If you purchase the letter tiles app, a small white board and marker is needed. 3. Students will need a notebook to write sentences in or may use their white board. 4.
