This Ongoing class is for Learners who've already understood the concept of Phonemic Awareness through Short Vowel sounds & are ready to advance in their Phonics & Reading Skills. for e.g. First and Second Graders.

*ALL ABOUT LONG VOWEL* will help learners fully develop the fundamental principles of association between word sounds, and that certain letter combinations can make a vowel short or long (such as "pin and "pine"). Additionally, different spelling variations can end up making the exact same sounds (such as "rain" & "date").  

* Each week, we'll identify/unpack the various vowel patterns, sounds, and spelling by using: i) Multiple Word Examples,
ii) Reading comprehension exercises, iii) Oral and written exercises, iv) Audiovisual presentations.

Learners can sign up for this class at ANY TIME because the lessons are not built on previous ones. Some Long Vowel might sound the same but have completely different spelling patterns, hence will be taught separately each week.

I've been teaching Preschoolers and Elementary for over ten years. I hold an Associates's Degree in Communication and a TEFL/TESOL Certification with Teaching Training in the English Language.
My aspiration is to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, to bridge the gap with students who struggle with Speech, Language, and Reading delays.  
Additionally, I'm also an enthusiastic Reading Specialist, whose passion and knowledge for teaching English are unlimited to Age or Culture. My goal as an English Language Educator is to inspire and shape the minds of young learners to see the Joy in language as they become better equipped with the fundamentals skills to be able to read, write, & explore more within themselves.
