In this ongoing Class we will be learning what a fraction is, how to draw fractions, how to compare fractions with common numerators or denominators, how to place a fraction on a number line, and how to determine if 2 fractions are equivalent. In my classes, I will provide direct instruction, guided practice, and independent practice. Students will be able to submit their answers via chat box in order to receive individualized feedback. Students will be expected to complete each problem on their own sheet of paper. No prior knowledge of fractions is needed for this class. We will start from the basics and learn each part together. Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Hello Everyone! I am so excited to teach your learner!
I love to teach preschoolers, crafting, and math. As a toddler mama and at-home preschool curriculum creator, I currently spend a lot of time finding creative and fun ways to help preschoolers learn through play. I am also a former 3rd grade teacher. I taught all subjects, but have always had a passion for teaching math! I am a lifelong learner, and I hope to instill that passion in the students I teach. I teach because I want kids to find their passions and become independent learners! My passions include preschool, math, crafting, and budgeting.
I am a licensed Elementary Teacher in North Carolina. I have taught 3rd Grade, 6th Grade Math, and Preschool. I graduated from Campbell University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in math. I have also worked at a CPA firm as a payroll specialist. Math is clearly one of my passions!
When I'm not teaching, I'm spending time with my family! I have 2 girls; a 2 year old and a baby. We love to bake together, have dance parties, and do crafts together.
