I will be providing written feedback on every writing assignment. I will include notes for improvement as well as praise. I can assign a letter grade, but will only do so upon request. Otherwise, it will be up to the parent to assign grades based upon my notes.Experiencia de clase

This class will focus on reading and analyzing books, poems, plays, and short stories taken from recommended reading lists for college-bound students. This will be a book-based, writing-intensive course which will focus on helping students hone their critical thinking skills and writing abilities. Specifically, we will be reading through a unit of some of the most famous (and troubled) literary heroes. Then, we'll dive into the Golden Age of mystery and read stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie. Class will require weekly reading assignments and in-class discussion. We will also complete two papers in the class divided up into 4 pieces each with lots of feedback in between.
