In this four week course, we will continue to learn about American Sign Language. It is highly recommended that you complete the four parts of Beginners with Mrs. Emily and the four parts of Intermediate with Mrs. Emily, before taking ANY advanced classes. We will take a deeper look into ASL Grammar in these advanced courses and we will also practice vocabulary we have learned previously. 
Our schedule is as follows: 
Week 1: ASL Grammar Rules 1 through 5
Week 2: ASL Grammar Rules 6 through 10 
Week 3: Examples of Rules 1 through 5
Week 4: Examples of Rules 6 through 10 

Each week we will review what we did the previous weeks and we will practice more of the skills we have been learning.  By the end of this course, each student will be able to identify each type of sentence and how it is to be laid out, and be able to procure an ASL sentence that is grammatically correct. I will give sheets with examples of sentences and words for receptive practice for students to practice at home and to use in class.
