Welcome to Virtual Performing Arts Academy. This performance class for kids is perfect for your budding artist. In this four-week class, students will learn the fundamentals of acting while working on a short monologue performance. This is a fun and active class. Virtual Performing Arts Academy prides itself in being a fun, supportive teaching studio where every child is a star. Students do not need any prior experience to join this class and students with prior experience will learn, grow, and be challenged as well!

 During the course students will learn:

Memorization Techniques
Blocking 
Characterization
Movement Skills
Improvisation 


The class is structured as follows:
Drama Warm-up
Drama Game/Improvisation Technique
Day Focus
Rehearsal 
Recap and Goodbyes

Day 1: Getting to know you/What is a monologue?/Auditioning/Memorization skills
Day 2: Character Exploration 
Day 3: Movement Exploration 
Day 4: Improv Exploration/Final Performance

This class is for the beginner or advanced performers, and monologues will be given based on students' ability level. This class can be retaken multiple times and students can work on a new monologue.

Welcome to Virtual Performing Arts Academy. Our organization includes scholars, professional performers, and licensed teachers. We offer a variety of courses for all levels from beginners to pre-professionals. We are so excited to meet you.
