This exciting online workshop will introduce Outschool Students to the skills needed to deliver on camera auditions or in person meet and greets. Aimed at the curious teens with little to no experience who wish to learn the craft of acting for film and television. Providing the student with feedback on their work, positive reinforcement will be practiced for self esteem and continued growth. In this introductory session. • Warm up with a getting to know you personality building game ( theatre based ) • Study tools needed for an actors kit. Headshot, Resume, Cover Letters, business plan. Ten second infomercial. • Scene Study, with text analysis and characterization. • Study small scenes as an introduction to the online audition platform. • Perform and review ( optional ) • Encourage for scheduling more sessions.
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will learn a stronger understanding of how to gain more of their personal power and impress people when meeting online or in person for the first time. Usually audition techniques from the world of film and television, self esteem and self confidence will grow, along with listening and communication skills.
