Experiencia de clase

If you want pursue a career in theatre, film or television as a successful actor, then monologues are one of the most important aspects of an actor's preparation that you can learn about - they are the often the key to nailing that audition, booking your first roles and building a body of work you can be proud of!

In this class, we will pose the question: 'What is a Monologue?' and let lively class debate move us towards what purpose monologues serve within plays and, ultimately, what makes a good piece for audition/presentation purposes. Choosing great material is vitally important and aspiring actors who have not yet been required to perform monologues for school entrance exams / professional auditions etc. will greatly benefit from the advice in this class in order to get a head start on their prep for the profession!

This area of expertise is one I absolutely LOVE to teach and I can't wait to share some of my insight from 10+ years of experience with your learners!
