1-2 horas por semana. Any writing or assignments not completed in class will be completed and submitted before the following class session.
Evaluación
Students will receive a participation scores for each class session. Students will receive a rubric score and feedback for their final writing project.

In this 4-week, twice a week class, students will learn and practice close reading and analysis skills needed for Shakespeare through lecture, guided discussion, and group and individual practice. This class will provide direct reading, analysis, and writing instruction in relation to Shakespeare's works. As a class, students will work through the process of reading, analyzing, brainstorming, organizing, writing, and editing written responses to Shakespeare. As part of this process, students will submit a piece of writing using responsive writing on a text that serves a specific purpose and addresses a particular audience.

The Final Synthesis Questions Writing will be a final assignment due via "Conversation" and will be scored within 48 hours using the scoring Rubric and feedback.

Students will understand the various strategies for successful close reading of Shakespeare and will write a synthesis essay at the end of class to demonstrate understanding for a writing score and feedback.
