Welcome to an enriching 7th & 8th-grade reading and writing class where students will master all of the core skills from a typical school semester for language arts. In the first class, we will have an introduction to the class with poetry. For the following weeks, students will be assigned about 50 pages of our book, "Bruiser" along with a packet that helps them with reading comprehension. 📚Students will need their OWN copy of "Bruiser" to read the assigned chapters outside of class. Once the book is finished, the teacher will guide students to complete a book report. Finally, in the last week, students will get to explore their creativity by writing a narrative based on the book such as a journal entry from a character, an alternate ending, or a sequel.
