This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught in sixth grade. This class is the first of the series. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this course. Day 1: Prime Factorization Day 2: Evaluating Exponents Days 3 and 4: Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM) Day 5: Integers Day 6: Absolute Value and Opposites Days 7 and 8: Rational Numbers This class follows a "flipped" classroom model, where interactive videos introducing the concepts that will be covered in the next class meeting will be sent ahead of time. These video activities are optional, but are a good way to review concepts before the class meeting so that more of the meeting time can be spent practicing the concepts. After each live class meeting, an optional practice activity covering the previous lessons' topics will be send in order to provide more opportunities for independent practice. Please note that this is a multi-day class with a set schedule. Please review the entire schedule before enrolling, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you!
