Welcome to fifth grade math! 👋 This rigorous & engaging ongoing math course will provide your student with a FULL YEAR of 5th grade math taught by an experienced licensed math teacher. The topics covered in this course are aligned with the CCSS (Common Core State Standards) as a guide for instruction. The twice weekly meetings will be filled with interactive instruction through the use of printables, videos, presentations, digital activities & games, brain break activities, guided practice, and assessments. ________________________________________________ What makes this course unique? 💡All of the printable materials are provided to families weekly 💡Quarterly progress reports (informal and formal) are provided 💡Self-paced videos are provided weekly for INTERVENTION (struggling students) & ENRICHMENT (students who need a challenge) 💡Opportunities for 1:1 targeted instruction with the teacher 💡Extra practice is available upon request This 5th grade math class is great for homeschooling students or traditional students to use as a supplement or as a full course curriculum for fifth grade math! Successful completion of a full 4th grade math course is necessary for students to enroll in this course. ________________________________________________ Students are welcome to join at any time, but please NOTE: The content presented in this math class is comprehensive and builds upon previous learning. If a student is not familiar with the content that has previously been taught, then they may struggle. I will gladly offer some 1:1 instruction for your student to get them caught up with the course material.
